Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the following rights over your personal data. Where you can act on one yourself, we have said so — asking us is never required.
- Access — a copy of the data we hold about you. Your profile page already shows you exactly what a hiring company would see.
- Rectification — correct anything wrong. You can edit your profile directly.
- Erasure — delete your profile. You can do this yourself, and it takes effect immediately.
- Restriction and objection — limit or object to how we use your data. Unpublishing your profile stops companies seeing it at once.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable form. Email us and we will send it.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without giving a reason.
Why we are allowed to hold it
- Your consent — for publishing your profile to hiring companies. Nothing is visible to them until you approve it, and withdrawing takes effect immediately.
- Performing our agreement with you — keeping you signed in and running the searches you ask for.
- Legitimate interests — operating a recruitment service, including a consultant reviewing your application to a role you applied for.
Automated decision-making
Our AI assistant ranks and explains how roles fit you, and scores candidate profiles against a company's brief. This is decision support, not automated decision-making: a human consultant makes every introduction, and no agent contacts an employer on your behalf. You are not subject to a decision based solely on automated processing.
Where your data goes
The service runs on servers in Germany, within the EEA. Sign-in and notification emails are sent through Postmark. Vacancies and applications are held in Linux Recruit's recruitment system. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Making a request or a complaint
